Julien Delaye

Julien Delaye is a French singer-songwriter from Marseille. Former frontman of metal band Caedes, rock band The Coyotes Dessert and Canis Majoris. With the pandemic behind him, he finds himself alone with his snippets of compositions and a new acoustic guitar that will take him back to his first inspirations. Blending Dark Folk and gritty rock, he delivers hypnotic melodies, sometimes tinged with dark romanticism. 'Ancient monster' was a solo project, entirely conceived, produced, recorded and mixed on his own, freeing himself from codes and trends. His debut album 'Open Air Desertlike Discotheque' continues to play the game of permanent chiaroscuro, where nostalgia mingles with light, danceable melodies turn into eerie riffs, strange stories meet dark humor. A singular journey in a spellbinding art rock atmosphere!
