Midnight Resistance

Midnight Resistance is the electronic music project of german Musician, Songwriter and Producer Nico Frank. Since 2007, Midnight Resistance has been creating atmospheric electronic music at the intersection of Synthpop, Post-Punk and Darkwave. The project combines cinematic Synthesizers, atmospheric Guitars and immersive Soundscapes with introspective songwriting. Following its formation Midnight Resistance signed with the American independent label A Different Drum and released the self-produced debut album Remote in 2008. The album received positive critical attention and introduced the project to an international audience. Originally conceived as a solo project, Midnight Resistance expanded into a live lineup, bringing together electronic production, guitars and synthesizers to create an atmospheric and dynamic stage experience. In 2012, the second full-length album The Mirror Cage was released through Farscape / Artoffact Records, following the single Living A Lie. Over the years, Midnight Resistance has contributed tracks to international compilations, produced remixes and collaborated on various projects while continuously refining its distinctive sound. Further single releases followed, reflecting the project’s ongoing evolution. New music is currently in development.
