Gabriel Cavalcanti

Gabriel Cavalcanti is a Brazilian producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist exploring the meeting point between lo-fi, Brazilian music, and organic sound. His musical journey began at 12 with a nylon-string guitar and the classic rock of the 60s and 70s. In 2016, he began making home recordings of psychedelic compositions, eventually finding in lo-fi a language for texture, atmosphere, and experimentation. Today, his music blends sleepy beats with warm guitars, bossa nova, jazz, Brazilian rhythms, and field recordings. He also explores “lo-fi funk,” connecting the intimacy of lo-fi with the energy of Brazilian funk. Through collaborations with artists from around the world, Gabriel has become part of a growing global lo-fi community. His music is ultimately about turning feelings, sounds, and moments into places you can disappear into.
