Astyn Turr

Astyn is a singer-songwriter from Pasadena, California whose music blends alternative soul, indie R&B, jazz, and detailed songwriting that feels both understated and deeply personal. Before stepping into her own solo work, she spent years collaborating with artists including Janelle Monáe, Omar Apollo, Moonchild, Thee Sacred Souls, Destin Conrad, and Leslie Odom Jr., while also appearing alongside seven different artists on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series. Her work leans into atmosphere, live instrumentation, layered vocals, and the kind of writing that notices small moments and lets them sit. In 2024, she signed with Seventy7 Music under producer Rodney Jerkins and is currently touring with Yebba as the opening act and supporting as a background vocalist ahead of her debut album release LET HER out 9/25/26.
