Mike Freund

Mike Freund is a Sacramento, California-based rock artist blending Southern rock, blues, and classic rock into songs built on big guitar tones, memorable hooks, and honest storytelling. Originally from New Jersey, Mike spent more than two decades in Charleston, South Carolina, where he developed his signature sound before making California his new home. As a guitarist, singer, and songwriter, Mike combines gritty vocals with expressive guitar work rooted in classic influences while bringing a modern edge to his recordings. Whether performing solo acoustic or with a full band, his shows deliver the energy of classic American rock with the intimacy of a songwriter. His upcoming single, *Sunset Highways*, reflects a journey across places, seasons of life, and the memories that stay with us as we move forward. It's the latest chapter in a growing catalog of authentic, guitar-driven rock that blends Southern soul with West Coast horizons.
