Biography & Metadata

Born into a family of preachers, Madalyn Rae began writing music when she was ten years old, her first two songs being about the stories of Esther and the song of the Exodus. Later, in Bible College, she continued writing as a way to not only memorize course material, but to better understand and allow these biblical truths to set in. Since then she’s continued to write about the stories and truths of Scripture, believing that theology fuels doxology, and as the author of Hebrews so accurately states: “the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart” (Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭12‬). Having gained significant social media traction in 2024 with her songs “Isaac” “What if it’s Smaller” (unreleased) and “Wrestled with an Angel,” Madalyn has since released 13+ songs and is gearing up to release her first album. Madalyn is originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania and currently lives in Wichita, Kansas, with her husband and son. Now married and with a child of her own, she hopes these songs serve to steward in her boy a love for the Lord, Scripture, and theology.
