Biography & Metadata
Full Flower Moon Band are one of Australia's most electric and unrelenting rock outfits - a Brisbane five-piece who turned Kate 'Babyshakes' Dillon's bedroom project into a #1 record. After Dark, the 4th album arrives in February 2027 written in a month in New York on the Grant McLennan Fellowship. In November they’re set to support Foo Fighters on their stadium run, and Powderfinger in 2027. Megaflower (2024) entered the ARIA Australian Album Chart at #1 and the ARIA Vinyl Chart at #6, selling out its first vinyl pressing in a week They then cracked the record back open with Megaflower (Deluxe): unreleased tracks, live takes and reimagined versions. "I left everything on the table with the deluxe," says Dillon. "It's cathartic." It's hypnotic '70s riffs, sludgy desert rock and deadpan satirical lyrics under a triple‑guitar attack - a live act NME calls ‘an arresting, hip‑swivelling leader’ fronting. The reach keeps widening. Iggy Pop played them on BBC Radio 6; KEXP, PBS, 2SER and 4ZZZ have all spun the band; and Jack Black, Sleaford Mods, Noel Fielding and Cage The Elephant have hit follow.
