Producer/selector from La Mancha based in Gijón, Spain –"gabarre" is the contraction of García Barrena, whose real name is Manuel. Establishing himself as a prolific artist, he continues to grow after over 10 years writing, producing and releasing music. Proof of this was his debut album Uplifting Soundscapes, which was included in several editorials and reached more than 1,000,000 streams worldwide. From Jazz to Soul, Lounge to Downtempo, gabarre –strongly influenced by a wide spectrum of black music and electronic genres– shapes his own musical personality and embraces vintage sound to craft delicate Chillhop beats & soft House grooves. Through organic elements and chillout atmospheres, he gives his productions a unique character inspired by Mediterranean vibes and lo-fi aesthetic. Mostly independent releasing through his own label/platform called Fetiche Jazz Lab, he's also worked with other well-known international labels such as Vinyl Digital, DQBT Records, Salad Days, 55 Music, Cascade Records, Chilled Zebra or Groundunder Recordings.
