Moist is the creative moniker of Swedish producer, remixer, and composer David Elfström Lilja, who has steadily built a reputation in the electro and electronica scene. His emotionally rich and sonically cinematic productions combine nostalgic textures with modern sensibilities. With a career spanning decades, David has collaborated with and remixed iconic artists such as Pet Shop Boys (UK), Lustans Lakejer (SE), Red Snapper (UK) and more. His own work has, in turn, been reimagined by legends like Tangerine Dream (DE), The Beloved (UK), and Kebu (FI). In addition to his work as Moist, David co-wrote a track with Vince Clarke (Depeche Mode/Yazoo/Erasure) for his instrumental project Árstraumur’s latest album Aurora.
