Joanna Magik

Joanna Magik is a Canadian DJ and producer whose work is rooted in the physicality of dance music - records and sets that feel sweaty and alive. Coming up through ’90s rave culture alongside punk and hip-hop, she brings that history into the present, digging up old records for new crowds, pairing them with something brand new, and rarely staying in one gear for long. A former pro snowboarder and Olympic sports announcer, Joanna has spent much of her life somewhere between sport and music. As a DJ, she’s equally at home in underground rooms and on major festival stages. Her career has taken her to Burning Man, Dirtybird CampOut, Shambhala and Amsterdam Dance Event. She’s also the resident DJ for the NHL’s Calgary Flames. Joanna was named one of 1001Tracklists’ Future of Dance artists, won the Pete Tong x Apple Music mix contest series, and was selected for Spotify’s Fresh Finds 2026.
