GroovyRoom

GroovyRoom is a leading South Korean producer duo composed of Gyujeong Park(IÖN) and Hwimin Lee(Lil Moshpit). With roots in hip-hop and R&B, their sound seamlessly blends elements of pop and electronic music, expanding the sonic boundaries of Korean music. Their breakthrough came in 2017 when their viral production “EUNG FREESTYLE” captured public attention. Since then, they’ve produced numerous hits for a wide range of artists including Jay Park, HUH YUNJIN of LE SSERAFIM, (G)I-DLE, Heize, Crush, and pH-1, becoming a defining force in contemporary Korean music. GroovyRoom has been recognized at the Korean Hip-hop Awards with multiple major honors, including Producer of the Year, Album of the Year, and Hip-hop Track of the Year, proving their influence as trendsetting sound makers. They continue to showcase a prolific output and high-quality productions, earning acclaim for both their mainstream appeal and musical depth across genres. In 2021, they co-founded the creative label AT AREA, home to artists such as GEMINI, HyunA, DAWN, and YUJU, where they lead music and cultural direction across sound, visual identity, and performance. Both members also pursue solo projects—IÖN explores experimental electronic aesthetics, while Lil Moshpit delivers hard-hitting sets rooted in underground hip-hop.
