Marcus Koch

Marcus Koch is a german composer and music producer. His music can be attributed mainly to the musical directions of electronic music, downtempo, ambient, lounge and chillout. Marcus grew up in a musical family and received early piano lessons. As a youth, he developed a strong interest in the composition as well as the production of his own music. During this time he learned more instruments like guitar, drums and accordion. After graduating from high school, he studied music and mathematics, which he successfully completed. As a producer and composer, he worked together with artists such as Martin Solveig, Shaun Baker and John Davies. This collaborations also showed various chart placements. During the subsequent years Marcus comes up with many LP’s which were published on the Label Amaro-Music. Nowadays his music is represented on many international compilations and is played worldwide on well-known radio stations focusing on Chill/Ambient Music. In 2016 Marcus was nominated for the "Schallwelle Award", a German prize for electronic music, in the category "New discoveries"
