Atul Kumar Rai is an Indian Hindi novelist Lyricist and screenwriter. He is the author of Chandpur ki Chanda which was awarded the 2023 Yuva Puraskar for Hindi language works by the Sahitya Akademi. He is also a dialogue writer of the 2022 film Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga. Apart from being a novelist, Atul has a deep love for music. Atul has done his graduation and post-graduation in music from Banaras Hindu University. he completed his graduation in Tabla and has played Tabla in many national-level Music programs. During their post-graduation in Musicology from Banaras Hindu University, his interest shifted towards Hindi literature. He decided to become a full-time writer.
