DJ Kevinator

I’m DJ Kevinator — a real person, not an AI persona. DJ Kevinator is my artist identity, created and directed by me, Kevin LaBelle, from the Ottawa Valley / Petawawa area of Ontario, Canada. I use generative AI as part of my music creation process, but the identity, ideas, direction and final creative decisions are mine. I come up with the concepts, themes, lyrics and overall vision behind each track. I use AI music tools to help generate the audio, while directing the genre, tempo, vocals, instrumentation, arrangement, builds, drops and overall atmosphere. My process is hands-on and iterative. I generate multiple versions, rewrite lyrics, change prompts, adjust styles and settings, remix the strongest results and compare them until the track fits what I had in mind. I personally choose the final version that gets mastered and released as DJ Kevinator. My sound blends EDM, progressive house, electro house, melodic house and other club-driven influences, with a focus on strong hooks, heavy bass, energetic builds and big drops. The name DJ Kevinator goes back about 15 years to when I was DJing events, and it stuck. AI is a tool in the process. DJ Kevinator is me. Turn it up. Feel the build. Live the vibe.
