Hoax

Julian Cox, professionally known as Hoax, is a South London-based electronic music producer and DJ. His musical journey began with explorations into techno under the alias TLM, where he released various LPs and singles. In the early 1990s, he partnered with vocalist Jonathan Thompson, producing tracks influenced by funk, soul, and jazz. Cox's talents as a percussionist and keyboard player enriched his diverse musical background. In 1996, he signed with the legendary drum and bass label Moving Shadow, quickly becoming a key figure on their roster. His work with the label solidified his reputation as a versatile and innovative artist, contributing significantly to the drum and bass genre through the late 1990s.
