Biography & Metadata
Peysoh moves through tracks like an arrow with plainspoken rhymes detailing his rough surroundings and experiences in the Los Angeles suburb of Maywood. He made a big splash in 2020 with his debut, "6 Block." The grim track earned the admiration of Kendrick Lamar, who subsequently featured the Mexican-American MC on the Top 40 title track off GNX. By then, Peysoh had dozens of singles, the projects Ghetto Journal (2022) and Get Rich or Life Sliding (2023), as well as a collaborative EP with Swifty Blue and chief inspiration MoneySign Suede, to his credit. "GNX" built considerable anticipation for Peysoh's next move, made with the unwavering FinallyFed (2025). Raised in Maywood, Peysoh got into music through his cousin and uncle, and was inspired to step forward as a rapper by fellow Mexican-American MC MoneySign Suede. In late November 2020, Peysoh uploaded the video for his first track, "6 Block," which quickly amassed views in the millions. After he released over a dozen tracks during the rest of 2020 and 2021, Peysoh issued his first project, Ghetto Journal, in January 2022. A remix of "6 Block" featuring Mozzy, along with the somber "Chosen," were among the highlights. Next came Grimey Park, a six-track collaboration with Swifty Blue and MoneySign Suede. Almost exactly a year later, in April 2023, Suede was murdered in prison, and though Peysoh was profoundly affected, he kept moving forward, releasing Get Rich or Life Sliding that June. The rapper's major breakthrough came the next year with his guest appearance on Kendrick Lamar's "GNX," a number 24 hit on the Billboard 100. Shortly following the release of the track, Peysoh was capitalizing on the momentum with a four-track EP entitled Peysoh Did It. Additional singles arrived over the next several months, and in July 2025, still independent with distribution from Empire, Peysoh delivered FinallyFed, a full-length project with contributions from the likes of Lil Yachty, Tyga, and AZ Chike, and posthumous appearances from MoneySign Suede. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
