Hey, you found Psyy. 🪄 Let me introduce myself properly while you stay a little curious. I’m Psyy, a Nigerian multidisciplinary artist and the mind behind Afro-Psychedelic , a sound I created to make room for the parts of me that don’t fit neatly into one box. My music lives somewhere between Afro House, Soul, Jazz and Pop, but honestly, I’d rather let the music tell you what it is. I’m from Osogbo, Osun State, and my roots are a big part of how I see the world. I’ve always been fascinated by the relationship between culture, sound, imagination and reality. So I write from what I’ve lived, what I’ve felt, what I’ve imagined and sometimes, what I’m still trying to understand. I started my music journey in 2014 and officially stepped into the scene in 2015 with “Baddaman.” Since then, I’ve released my debut EP, A Psy of Relief, explored different sounds and continued building a world that feels completely mine.
