Angela Asiana

Angela Asiana is an R&B artist whose ethereal soundscapes provide insight into her cultural heritage. Finding her passion for singing and songwriting at 16, she began to record music in Tamil, German, and English. After building a successful career in modeling, she created a brand identity that paired image and music to promote her culture. In one of her recent releases, “Pray,” a melodic production with dream-like harmonies, she writes about following your passions and building a circle of trusted friends to foster growth. An upcoming two-volume album, CULTURE, distributed by AWAL, the project offers insights into Angela’s upbringing across Swiss and Sri Lankan culture lines. Each track examines centuries of royal European pedigree and South Asian religious traditions. One standout track, “911,” in CULTURE Volume I, is an introspective track paired with a subtle percussion that explores the pursuit of thrill, but with her core values at the forefront.
