Eshon Burgundy

Eshon Burgundy, an independent Billboard-charting rap artist from Philadelphia. His career, spanning over a decade, showcases an impressive discography of eight albums, beginning with his 2012 debut "Blood rushing to my head." Eshon gained significant recognition with his 2015 album "The Fear of God," which marked his first official appearance on the Billboard charts. This success was followed by the impactful releases of "The Passover" in 2016 and "For the Love of Money" in 2019, these also charted. Eshon would go on to release several other critically acclaimed albums throughout the year including his most recent album “Eyes on the one from Nazareth” in May of 2024. Eshon's lyrics are akin to biblical poetry and have often been referred to as brilliant and profound. Uniquely interweaving scripture, wise perspective and the rich tapestry of Black American culture. His music is a reflection of his life experiences, having grown up amidst violence and instability all while maintaining a genuine sense of faith.
