Adrien de la Salle

New Release: The Weight of Light. The Weight of Light is a journey through landscapes, memory, history, and silence. The light is everywhere: firelight, the northern sky, reflections on water, and the first light of dawn. It represents beauty, hope, and the cycles of renewal that continue through time. But light is not always weightless. The weight is what the land remembers: loss, promises, stories, and the traces we leave behind. Inspired by the geography and history of Canada, The Weight of Light is an attempt to hold these two ideas together — the beauty of the world, and everything it carries. French neo-romantic composer Adrien de la Salle (1996) has been deeply passionate of music from an early age. He composes music from his home studio in Montreal, Canada. Adrien’s compositions are driven by memorable melodies and a great care for harmony. A little bit of Chopin, a touch of Joe Hisaishi, and some Ólafur Arnalds influences all contribute to what has become Adrien’s signature sound. Thanks for being here, hope you like the music!
