Biography & Metadata
Nick Marks is a New York–based composer, producer, and instrumental artist creating music that blends jazz harmony, groove, and cinematic sensibility. His work is through-composed and textural, guided by narrative thinking and musical storytelling rather than genre conventions. Alongside his artist releases, Marks has composed for film, podcasts, and narrative media (BBC, NPR, Snap Judgment), bringing the same focus on structure, tone, and emotional clarity. His music sits between contemporary instrumental practice, jazz-influenced production, and cinema-adjacent sound worlds.
