Biography & Metadata

Born and raised in Rome, [the son of the eclectic American visual artist Susy Hardage], Hardage began his music career playing drums. In the early ‘90s, Hardage migrated to London where he founded the label Bacci Bros Records. He reached the top of the charts in the UK, as the producer of the track Movin' Too Fast (Ultimate Collection) by Romina Johnson (Gold Record in the UK) remixed by Artful Dodger. He entered the top ten in Italy with the track “Call Me” produced and written by Dj/Producer Dino Lenny. In 2006 Hardage released as Artist/Producer his first solo album called The Five Doubts featuring Peter Gabriel, Mark King (Level 42), Jocelyn Brown, Michael Franti, Maxi Priest, Nina Miranda (Smoke City). In 2019 Hardage is back with a new album titled Hardage a 7-track album (plus a bonus track) filled with the vibrant electronica atmosphere of the producer, counting collaboration with iconic artists and special voices such as: Gil Scott-Heron, Berenice Scott, Jane Kumada and Melike Konur.
