Biography & Metadata

Key4050 unites two of Ireland’s most influential electronic artists, John O’Callaghan and Bryan Kearney. First unveiled at Dreamstate SoCal in 2017, the project arrived in full force in 2019 with the ambitious 32-track debut album Tales From The Temple, establishing a distinctive sound spanning trance, techno, and cinematic electronica. In 2026, Key4050 returned to the forefront with the summer’s No. 1 hit, ‘Empty Space’ featuring Bo Bruce. It followed the scene-defining anthem ‘I Love You’ featuring Plumb and enduring club favourites including ‘Utterly Butterly’, ‘Beetlejuice’, ‘Pikachu’ and Dreamstate Europe anthem ‘Cisza’. Key4050 have performed at Tomorrowland, Transmission Prague, Dreamstate, A State of Trance, EDC Mexico, EDC Thailand and Festival X Australia. They closed Luminosity Beach Festival in both 2022 and 2026. Their 2026 finale, featuring 45 minutes of completely unreleased music before an explosive run of classics, sent the crowd into a frenzy and was hailed by fans as one of the best festival performances of 2026. That momentum now drives towards their highly anticipated second album, Stay in Your Lane, arriving early 2027. The next phase of the Key4050 story continues.
