Donald Barnett, known as Levels, is a well-known Jamaican producer who has had successful achievements in Dancehall and Reggae music. His label, Levels To Life Productions has released several hits from artists like Gage, Denyque, Kash PromiseMove, Shane-O and many more. After many collaborations with Lee Milla and business partner Rotwist, Levels has expanded, launching his second label called Levels_lvl. “With this second label, the aim is to build as many brands as possible since you never know which one will be a hit. Also “Levels_lvl” is not just a label but also an artiste name,” the US-based producer explained. Levels_LVL and Rotwist are also brand names of producers who launched Levels To Life Productions, registered in the state of New Jersey. Levels_LVL will also be registered and based in New Jersey. So far, Levels_LVL has produced Chronic Law’s “Revenge” and ShaneO and Kiishea’s collaboration called “People Strange”. The label will also be a part of Denyque’s EP that is set to be released in February 2024. The label is yet to sign any artists, however, they are open to record dedicated, driven and hardworking new and established persons in not only the Jamaican genres, but also R&B.
