M.I.T.A.

Italian DJ and producer M.I.T.A., originally from the island of Ischia, considers music a form of unrestricted self-expression. His sound draws inspiration from the groove-driven techno of the late '90s and early 2000s, blending tribal rhythms, funk-infused grooves and old-school influences with a contemporary approach. Releases on labels including Intec, CROWD, Suara and Uncage have earned M.I.T.A. the support of artists such as Ben Sims, The Advent, Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, FJAAK and Daria Kolosova. Beyond the studio, he has performed at renowned clubs including Fabric, D-Edge, Melkweg, Tempio Del Futuro Perduto, Family Club, El Sótano, Sonorama, Bassement, Duel Club, Sakog and ZUL, while his productions have been featured on the stages of major festivals such as Awakenings, Time Warp, Tomorrowland, Monegros, Sonus, Neopop, Ultra, Intercell, Brunch Electronik, elrow, Glitch and Stone Techno. Constantly digging for forgotten gems and timeless records, M.I.T.A. draws inspiration from decades of electronic music history, shaping both his productions and his DJ sets with a deep respect for the culture.
