Biography & Metadata

Azaad is a London-born/based DJ and Producer. His ability to consistently craft club-centric tracks, inspired by blends of UKG, techno and dubstep, has captured the attention and garnered sustained support from some of the industry’s standard-bearers. In 2023, he was scouted by the owners of Dungeon Meat, Brawther and Tristan da Cunha, both eager to champion his forward-thinking sound. He released vinyl-only EPs ‘Sonic Boom’ and ‘The Beat’ on the label, collectively selling out five times and consequently repressed due to continuous demand. His recent NY house inspired digital single 'Be My Love' painted a different shade in Azaad’s catalogue, and amassed nearly 1 million streams across DSPs. In 2024, Azaad expanded his creative vision by launching his own record label Born 2 Be Free. Both debut EPs topped Juno’s All Genres chart before quickly selling out. Azaad plans to utilize his label as the launchpad for his most ambitious project yet. His DJ sets have reached legendary venues such as fabric London, Shelter Amsterdam, Mint Warehouse, KOKO London, The Loft Manchester and After Caposile in Italy. He's supported renowned acts such as Kerri Chandler, Dungeon Meat, Hamish & Toby, Benny Rodrigues and Rossi. Driven by an enduring passion for spending time in the studio and an expanding global tour schedule, Azaad’s reputation is solidified as one of underground’s most exciting rising talents.
