Biography & Metadata

Syke is a spoken-word artist from the Philippines. He has collaborated with numerous artists including Omar Baliw, Hero Tunguia, Joko Reantaso, CLR and 727 Clique. He also appeared in Gloc-9 album's MKNM and Matrikula. Dubbed as the "tito" of young rappers who looked up to him, Syke has influenced a lot of artists. His lyrics has been pegged by many and his lyricism and stylistic flow in incomparable. Syke doesn’t make music—he leaks thoughts straight from a cracked system and calls it a track. Born in Iligan City, raised somewhere between late-night noise and unfinished sentences, Syke moves like a signal that cuts in and out but somehow still hits. His bars don’t arrive clean—they glitch, they stutter, they burn on impact. Half confession, half coded message you weren’t meant to fully understand. He raps like he’s arguing with himself and winning. Or losing. Hard to tell. Either way, you’re listening. There’s no clear lane—just detours. One track feels like a journal entry you found by accident, the next sounds like a threat whispered through static. He turns doubt into rhythm, chaos into cadence, and silence into something loud enough to sit with you long after the beat dies. Syke doesn’t chase the spotlight. He distorts it. Doesn’t follow trends. He side-eyes them, then disappears. If it makes sense, it’s probably not him.
