King Yanz

King Yanz is an artist shaped between cultures, a Finnish-born Congolese artist raised in the UK, whose music reflects a deep connection to identity, place, and personal truth. Blending elements of hip-hop, UK drill, hip-hop jazz, neo-soul, and R&B, his sound moves between sharp lyrics and soulful music. His writing is grounded in lived experience, narratives shaped by cultural duality, and emotional honesty. With a voice that leans into both wit, vulnerability, and strength, Yanz brings a rare new sound to the industry. On stage, he performs with live instrumental elements and sometimes with his live band, Yanz & the Kingzmen, delivering immersive sets that highlight his musical range and commitment to connection. His performances are as intentional as his lyrics. His forthcoming album, Jeppisboy, set for release in 2026, is a personal tribute to his Finnish roots and the places that shaped him.
