Nawed Khan, known by his stage name Browncoat, has been a driving force in the alternative and underground side of electronic music in India for the past decade. With a passion for pushing the boundaries of the genre, he has quickly become one of the most sought-after producers and performers in India, sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in electronic music such as Sven Vath, Seth Troxler, Yotto, Lane 8, Ben Bohmer, Tinlicker, and Disclosure, to name a few. With an impressive portfolio of releases and collaborations under his belt, Browncoat’s music has garnered plays by some of the biggest names in the industry like Joris Voorn, Hernan Cattaneo and Nora En Pure to name a few. His first major release on Yotto's label ODD ONE OUT was just the beginning, as he went on to release on legendary labels such as Anjunabeats, Purified, Steyoyoke, Buddha Bar, ICONYC, Inner Symphony, and Poker Flat Recordings. He’s also released on Jerome Isma Ae's label JEE Recordings. His remixes for the likes of Rafael Cerato, Gardenstate and Tim Engelhardt have cemented his status as one of the most versatile and talented producers in India. Browncoat's musical journey began nearly two decades ago as Nawed Khan and has performed at some of the biggest and most prestigious events and festivals in the world, including the Awakenings festival line-ups in Amsterdam and India, Anjunadeep Open Air, Vh1 Supersonic, Sunburn, and Satellite Beachside, among others.
