ProfKayG is Mokopane’s (Limpopo Province, South Africa) most decorated producer and DJ. Nicknamed the “Log drum maestro”, ProfKayG produces multiple genres however is most known for his 3 Step and AmaPiano work. ProfKayG’s claim to fame was remixing “PAPBAP (Infinite Tropical Remix)” with Kid X followed by the single “Sengikhathele” with Joyous Celebration’s Gospel Silinda which cemented him to the industry and secured him a nationwide radio tour with over 10 radio stations including Ligwalagwala FM and Munghana Lonene FM. His debut album “Piano Grail” was released in the summer of 2021 and was followed by a series of accomplishments including an Ingoma Award nomination for Best Gospel-House in 2024 for the single Mighty, producing the Mawat album Durban 2 Pitori, producing nGanono with Lady Du, multiple collaborations with the award winning gospel-house production duo Ab Central including the 2025 hit Inde Lendlela: 3 Step (feat. Flowzbevtz & Sir Jay Lute).
