ELIF

Istanbul-born and Barcelona-based, ELIF is a DJ, producer and founder of the record label Marginalia, known for an emotionally driven yet groove-led sound that moves freely across deep, melodic, progressive, afro house, indie tech and everything in between. Shaped by her background in architecture and an instinct for storytelling on the dance floor, her extended, narrative-driven sets adapt seamlessly from darker club rooms to uplifting festival stages. She has played Tomorrowland, Coachella (Do LaB), Burning Man, fabric London and Hï Ibiza, and is a regular at Zero in New York, Hive in Zurich and Kater Blau in Berlin. Her productions are just as versatile, released on labels including Anjunadeep, Get Physical, Last Night on Earth and Stil vor Talent, with support from Âme, Mira, Hernán Cattáneo, Jimi Jules, Reznik and Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1 and upcoming music on Keinemusik's VOD and Armada. Through Marginalia, named Beatport's Hype Label of the Month, she develops artists and hosts showcases around the world. Beyond the booth, she's an outspoken voice in the scene and she shares her process through production masterclasses at Zurich Music Week and speaks on panels at ADE, IMS and Off-Week. Her long-format sets on YouTube have built a community around her sound.
