Andre Waithe, better known as DOT, is a Montreal-born artist from the neighbourhood of "DG" /Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. Growing up in this vibrant, diverse area, DOT’s music draws from his expriences and stories of his community. His passion for hip-hop led him to develop a unique voice, blending personal experiences with relatable lyrics that resonate far beyond his neighbourhood. In addition to being a skilled rapper, DOT is also a self-taught music engineer.
