Kibir La Amlak

Although working musically under various names for a decade prior, the name Kibir La Amlak was first made known to the world in 2008. Emerging initially as a roots reggae sound system and music producer. Kibir La Amlak quickly garnered recognition, showcasing his homegrown studio productions on his self-built reggae sound system. The towering stacks of speakers, crafted with his own hands, resonated across UK and Europe and shared arenas with many of the foundation sound systems that inspired him as a youth, Jah Shaka, Jah Youth, Aba Shanti, Channel One featuring regularly in infamous events such as University of Dub (London) and Teachings in Dub (Bristol). This distinctive approach and deep connection to his music laid the foundation for the 'Kibir La Amlak - Live Dub Experience.' An immersive, spring-reverberated, tape-delayed journey, in which he leads listeners through a reinterpreted, dubbed-out live remix of his discography.
