Le principali fonti di ispirazione per Rei sono Milano, in particolare modo la realtà street della città che lo porta ad avere diversi problemi con la legge, e il contesto sociale in cui cresce. All’età di 13 anni inizia a scrivere i primi testi insieme a Digio, con cui fonda il gruppo Santana Moe, rilasciando singoli e 3 dischi ottenendo milioni di stream.
