Waade

WAADE is a Ugandan rapper, singer, songwriter and producer whose sound blends hip-hop, alternative rap, trap and African influences into a style that is both personal and unpredictable. Rapping since 2009, WAADE has built a deep catalogue of music while developing his own approach to storytelling, melody and lyricism. His music moves between raw rap, conscious themes, Afro-fusion and melodic records, with a growing focus on songs that connect emotionally as much as they hit sonically. As an independent artist and producer, WAADE writes, records and develops much of his music from his own creative space, giving him the freedom to experiment without being confined to one sound or scene. From Kampala to listeners beyond Africa, WAADE is building a catalogue designed for people who value individuality, real experiences and music that doesn't fit neatly into one box. WAADE — independent Ugandan artist. Hip-hop. Afro-fusion. Alternative. No box.
