Divine Council

Divine Council add a distinctively unconventional, technically proficient flavor to commercial rap. The Richmond, Virginia-based group consists of instigator Lord Linco, fellow Virginia rappers Cyrax! and $ilkmoney, and producer ICYTWAT, a Chicago native who joined after the original trio utilized some of his submitted beats. An early cut, specifically the Finding Nemo-referencing "P. Sherman (PS42WW$)," earned the group a high-profile devotee in André 3000. The track appeared on the Top Ten hit Epic AF in August 2016, around the time the streaming compilation's label of release also issued Council World, Divine Council's debut digital EP.
