“J Neat was born and raised in Toronto, Canada in the notorious Jane and Finch community. Although he started making music originally during junior high school it wasn't until high school J Neat started to take it seriously. The BFR affiliate is best known for his hit "Backseat" with Toronto rapper Houdini who passed away in 2020. The song was a cult classic and did over 2 Million views after being featured on WordStar HipHop. J Neat has headlined shows across the country off the strength of hit songs like "Rain Drop" and other solo songs with millions of streams. He was also one of the artists on Pressa's cross country The Goose Fur Canada Tour getting a chance to expand his fan base from his local following. J Neat's most recent project is "Lion Heart" and was released under his Houligan ENT imprint.
