ZHANGYE

Widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in China's electronic music scene, ZHANGYE is a producer/DJ, founder of Cyanhill Music, and the driving force behind CHINA EDM. He has brought together China's leading and emerging DJs and producers to pioneer a new era for Chinese electronic dance music. Often referred to as the "Godfather of Chinese EDM," his work has earned widespread global recognition. A graduate of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, ZHANGYE combines rigorous classical training with deep artistic sensibility. ZHANGYE is also the founder & CEO of Cyanhill Capital, a prominent venture capital firm. His creative vision is further shaped by years of experience in the commercial world, bringing together sharp business acumen and a distinctive global perspective. Specializing in styles such as Dance, House, and Electropop, ZHANGYE consistently serves as the primary creative force (the lead artist) in collaborations with top international artists, including Steve Aoki, Skylar Grey, Libianca, Justin Jesso, Bassjackers, and Janieck, among others. In 2024, ZHANGYE and Cyanhill Music launched CHINA EDM. Its debut, CHINA EDM Vol. 1, marked a milestone in Chinese electronic music, earning a 2024 TME Wave Music Award nomination while "Rather Lie" won Best Electronic Song. In 2026, ZHANGYE spearheaded CHINA EDM Vol. 2—China’s first all-female electronic music compilation.
