Iasi Ensemble

Iasi Ensemble is international musical - artistic ensemble, created by the musician, composer Iasonas Psarakis in collaboration with music producer Nikolas Gkinis and a diverse set of musicians from India, Iran, and Greece. The ensemble hopes to soothe the souls of people across the globe through the healing qualities of art and the union of diverse forms of arts and culture. They have recieved lot of awards by recognized International Music and Film Festivals for their creations ,compositons and arrangments in music & film industry. Iasonas Psarakis is a Greek-born composer, filmmaker, and multi-instrumentalist known for his work in North Indian Classical and World music. A soloist on the sitar and esraj, he blends Hindustani, Middle Eastern, and European Classical traditions. He studied under respected gurus including Ameena Perera and Pandit Debi Prasad Chatterjee, and earned a B.Mus. in Hindustani Classical Music from Visva Bharati University (India), supported by ICCR scholarships. His release Astris (2023) have garnered international acclaim, earning six Silver - Global Music Awards, Clouzine Music Award, and GRAMMY® consideration.
