Housefly

Housefly (Cedric de Saint-Rome) is a GRAMMY-award winning producer and multi-instrumentalist from Montreal. Having been signed to publishing house Prescription Songs by A&R exec and T-Pain's former manager Rocco Valdes at age 20, Housefly creates genre-bending works that break apart and fuse elements from countless styles including progressive metal, jazz fusion, and classical music. Canadian by birth, Housefly’s multinational background (counting Finnish, Swedish, and Haitian among his recent ancestries) contributes a multi-platform melodic and rhythmic sensitivity to his music, which resonates with audiences from North American adolescents to European classical music buffs. His Royal Conservatory examinations, awards in classical piano competitions, and establishment in the Canadian jazz scene would probably come as a surprise to those who follow him as Housefly. Six years have passed since publishing any new music, and now the all-new and scarily-improved Housefly is back with a creative vengeance.
