Biography & Metadata

Jordan Stone’s music is a blend of Americana, country, and modern storytelling with a vintage edge—less about chasing a dream and more about making sense of everything she’s been through. Writing songs is how she makes sense of the chaos around her, turning fleeting memories and unsettled thoughts into something tangible. Influenced by artists like Chris Cornell, Willie Nelson, Zach Bryan, and Sheryl Crow, as well as bands like SafetySuit and Whiskey Myers, her sound carries both rawness and vulnerability. Fans of Phoebe Bridgers, Kacey Musgraves, Lana Del Rey, and Daughter will find a kindred spirit in Jordan’s music—honest, unfiltered, and searching for something just out of reach. Jordan Stone lived in Pinson, Tennessee, until she was five years old, when her parents placed her in a Baptist orphanage in Illinois. She remained there until she was 13, then spent a year back with her parents before running away at 14. For the next few years, she moved between different homes, sometimes sleeping in an attic or closet, until she was finally taken in and adopted at 17 by a Baptist pastor and his wife. They gifted Jordan her first guitar, setting her on the path to music. She taught herself to play by learning Taylor Swift songs, sparking a love for songwriting that would shape her future.
