Kailey Wilson

Kailey is a sensitive Pisces sharing her medicine. <3 Raised in Utah with her roots in Salt Lake City, Kailey grew up competitive dancing, singing in choirs, taking voice & guitar lessons, and performing. She has been writing songs since she was a child. After multiple traumatic experiences including the loss of her mom to cancer in 2021, Kailey decided it was time to take music seriously and share her voice in the way she always dreamed of. Since then she has taken songwriting courses and learned from one of her biggest inspirations Ayla Nereo. She is always finding new inspiration for writing songs, and growing her performing experience through playing at local venues. She has released a 5 song EP titled ‘I am here.’, a 2 song EP titled Cursebreaker, and multiple singles. Her music is a blend of psychedelic folk pop with her own unique twist. Some artists who influence her writing and music are as mentioned Ayla Nereo, The Beatles, Rising Appalachia, Aurora, Stevie Nicks, Norah Jones, & Erykah Badu. Kailey has experience with energy work, and brings an element of sound healing into her debut EP through using a sound bowl in the intro track, to using emotional, storytelling lyrics that inspire healing. Kailey writes all of her music, does all the vocals, and SLC based producer Brecken Jones has helped with the production, mixing, and mastering. Kailey is here, and ready for her voice and music medicine to be shared with all who resonate with her unique sound. <3
