CRL&SAF

CRL&SAF craft cinematic music for uncertain times — fractured, moody, and emotionally charged. Like scenes in motion, their tracks pulse with urgency, flashing between clarity and chaos, echoing the sound of a world in flux. CRL, a Swedish composer raised in rural isolation, first emerged as a vocalist in alt-rock bands. Over time, his voice shifted into synthesizers, textures, and storytelling through sound — exploring memory, melancholy, and wide-screen atmosphere. SAF, a British producer and DJ shaped by the raw energy of Manchester and London’s underground, came up through house, disco, rave, and techno. He’s lived the arc of club culture — its intensity, its evolution — and brings that deep rhythmic instinct to every track. They met by chance in a crumbling Barcelona studio. Their contrast became their chemistry. CRL&SAF was born — not as a project, but as a dialogue: two voices from different worlds, finding common ground in music that aims beyond the dance floor.
