Purple Negative

Purple Negative is a female fronted alternative rock band from Latvia, which combines punk and psychedelic rock influences into unique sounding songs. Since the year 2017 the band has been actively entertaining its audience in many festivals and shows in Baltic states and Finland, for example, festival “Devilstone” in Lithuania in 2022, as well as opening for the band Placebo in Sigulda, June 2022. Purple Negative has gained its recognition with the releases of singles like “Fluorescent Lights” and “Happy Once a Year”. In 2020 the band released its second mini-album “Happy”, which notes progressive changes in Purple Negative’s sound. In the beginning of the year 2024 the band released their first single “Megabee” from the upcoming album of the same title -“Megabee”. The debut album "Megabee" was released on March 25th and brings new, playful psychedelic punk influences into Purple Negatives' sound.
