Biography & Metadata

The Limp Twins was a project between multi-instrumentalist and producer Will Holland (Quantic) and singer and musician Russ Porter. Their debut album, Tales From Beyond The Groove, released on Tru Thoughts, is an 11-track romp through soul, jazz, acid jazz, funk and ska. A quality UK album that forms part of the musical journey of Quantic. Long time friends, Will and Russ created this album in their bedrooms, reflecting on a shared past of influences and sounds. Russ was the frontman of the hugely popular Quantic Soul Orchestra, touring internationally with the eleven piece band during the early 00s. “The record is a funky offering somewhere in between the sound of Will Holland's other projects, Quantic and The Quantic Soul Orchestra, but is definitely more laid back” Last FM
