Biography & Metadata

Sandman is a UK based artist. His music is an eclectic blend, bringing together the lyricisism and confidence of Rap, with the vulnerability, depth and atmosphere of Dark R&B. Woven between the melodic storytelling are themes of self discovery and determination. Since emerging in 2020, Sandman has built a global audience. Recognised for his genre-combining sound and emotive lyrics, his songs such as “Feel”, combined a lustful R&B sound with blazing guitar solos and cinematic synths. The closing track “Sucess” from his 2024 album “Changes” also showcased Sandman’s lyrical honesty, questioning the very notion of success. As a self produced artist, Sandman has honed his style to reflect his songwriting. A multi-instrumentalist & drummer across many genres, he has blended his eclectic musical journey into his tracks. His soundscapes can be expansive and layered with ethereal synths and punchy drums, while the use of negative and silence create a feel of tension. Sandman creates the moment and the space for interaction and connection. Capable of engaging an audience, his world gives voice to feelings people often struggle to express through words alone. Following the success of his 2025 album “The World We Don't See”, which solidified his style of self-reflective rap, fused with ambient dark R&B, Sandman has continued to release singles throughout 2026 & shows no signs of slowing down.
