Lisinopril

LISINOPRIL is a music project by the Los Angeles based composer and multi-instrumentalist Boaz Roberts (of Switchfoot). Shaped equally by his childhood in San Diego surf culture and trained classically since age three, Roberts brings a dedicated intentionality to anything he creates. The project draws upon repetitive figures, slow harmonic successions and layered canons that reveal their architecture over time. Music as process. Change as composition. Work that asks you to slow down and listen. From the composer. "Exist in balance of opposites. Motion as a form of meditation and stillness. Perpetual succession of linear and yet non progressive melodics create a frame to rest your mind upon. Breathe slowly and fixate on pulse, natural resonances and time."
