Nueen

Composer and producer from Mallorca, Nueen is based in Barcelona and works in the field of ambient and electronic music. His releases on labels such as Hyperdub, 3XL or Stroom combine atmospheric textures with subtle rhythms, often drawing on the calm and clarity of his Balearic background. Projects like “Link” or recent “Algorithmic Accompaniment” focus on minimal, immersive soundscapes, while his collaboration with Iceboy Violet, expands his work into darker and more emotional territory. Over the past few years he has steadily built a catalogue that moves between experimental ambient, dub-inflected rhythms and Balearic-inspired electronica. His music has been covered by publications such as Resident Advisor, The Wire, Pitchfork, FACT and Boomkat, and he has appeared on platforms including NTS, Dublab and BBC Radio. Nueen has performed at international festivals and has been invited to present his work in clubs and contemporary art spaces across Europe.
