Biography & Metadata

Nakadia is celebrated as the first Asian DJ to break into the global techno circuit, a true trailblazer whose story has inspired generations. From growing up in rural Thailand without electricity or running water, she transformed her life through passion, courage, and relentless dedication to music. Launching her career in 2002, Nakadia has since spent more than two decades touring the globe — performing over 2,000 gigs across 90 countries. She became the rare exception: an Asian artist who not only entered, but established herself inside Europe’s fiercely competitive techno scene. Her sets are powerful yet playful, delivering both intensity and joy on the dancefloor. Her discography spans respected labels such as Filth on Acid, Intec, Codex, and Set About, and in 2021 she released her autobiography Positive Energy, sharing the remarkable journey from the rice fields of Thailand to the world’s biggest stages. Today, Nakadia stands as a global icon of perseverance and innovation. She represents Asia on the international techno stage not just as an artist, but as a legend who continues to push boundaries and open doors for future generations.
