Futur-E

Futur-E (Stavros Karavasilis) is a Greek electronic music producer and DJ based in Palaio Faliro, Athens. Born in 1988 and raised in Elefsis, a city with deep cultural and historical roots, Futur-E has carried a strong sense of storytelling and atmosphere into his music. Introduced to music at the age of 8 through keys, harmonium and theory, his early influences came from rock n roll and psychedelic trance. By the early 2000s, at just 13 he was DJing across Greece where his sets were focused on house music. His first productions appeared under the name Funky Wizard, before launching Futur-E in 2008 and fully embracing the underground world of progressive house, melodic techno and minimal. His debut "Clone Cat" EP in 2010 marked the start of a prolific journey, leading to releases on Tulipa Recordings, Manual Music/MNL, Traum, Mango Alley, Movement Recordings, Recovery Collective, Stripped Recordings, Tenampa, Proton Music, and more. Now serving as A&R for Movement Recordings, Futur-E continues to deliver a forward-thinking fusion of progressive house and melodic techno, always guided by rhythm and groove.
